Change is Forever
I spend a lot of time thinking about how I can change things. I feel change is the first thing we as humans either love or hate. There isn’t a middle. I took a side and I love change. It challenges me mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. I also figured something out. I can't change the world, but I can change my world, which allows others to see inside of it and hopefully I can influence them to feel/do the same, and hopefully that trend goes on to the next person.
If you haven't heard, I make music. People like to beat around the bush and label their music as something odd or unique to kind of pop out. Well, I'll be upfront. They're beats. Regular, real beats. Beats influenced by American hip-hop music, southern, black gospel, 70s/80s soul, straightforward dance music, funk carioca, etc. I could go on, but my point is that when you listen to my music, it's for you to label if you want. It's everything I hope you love. How does the concept of change relate to how we label music? We must know what we are hearing/seeing/feeling in order to offer our minds to one another for careful inspection to ignite the change. Many people and many things changed me. This is why I continue to make music and create.
